What do you do when cell towers and/ or wifi is down during an emergency? In a time of mass surveillance, how do we communicate during emergencies, or without a cell phone plan? We’re building mesh network hardware components, soldering them ourselves to save money, hooking them up to scavenged solar panels (donations of old solar landscape lights needed), volunteers will 3-D print the housing for them, and then we will install them into little free pantries/libraries, and other public spots all over Omaha! We're expanding our abilities to redirect quality food from the wastestream. We've got many more community fridge construction projects coming up! If you want to figure out how you can help in the struggle against false scarcity under Capitalism, join us at our next MACE meeting! We're cooking up some dual power in the kitchen!

Free Pride Quarterly Events Fund
We had a massive success with our first free pride event. However, a lot of the volunteers spent a significant amount from their personal finances to fund it. We want to be able to start a pot to pull from for our future free pride events. We plan on hosting a quarterly queer gathering organized for y’all. Always free, no barriers to entry. We’re cooking up something spooky for this fall.
