Big News!

We have launched a new project. We have begun forming a skillshare/resources/experience map, organized by neighborhoods in Omaha! You can choose your level of anonymity within this framework. For now it is primarily organized via Signal chats, but this project will evolve as it grows, as some are less concerned with privacy than others.

All of the updates to our SRE map will be made monthly. We hope to get this installed as an interactive map that is password protected, available here on the website soon. We still need to meet up with a recently connected cybersecurity comrade first.

if you’re interested in participating in this project introduce yourself at one of our weekly Mutual Aid Community Exchange (MACE) meetings.

Our next meetup is actually coming up later today

Wednesday June 17th, @ the
Downtown Library - 1401 Jones St.
Meeting Room 206
5:30-7:30pm

Also, our final MACE meeting of the month will commence at the kick off in the first hour of our Pride Potluck in Elmwood Park on Sunday, June 28th, at 4pm. (Check the ‘Upcoming Events’ page for details.)

The goal of the skillshare/resources/experience (SRE) map is to create more than just friendships, but to establish a communal support network we can all utilize. The more we learn to rely on each other, the less we are dependent on the machinations of Capitalism.

See ya at the next meeting, comrade?
