We are in the works of getting a punk rock show together to fundraise for a new project. We still need to find a drummer for the band!
The idea is to build a public communications infrastructure for Omaha, via solar powered mesh networks integrated into little free pantries.
Other societies in revolt against authoritarian regimes have often found themselves without internet and mobile communications.
Mesh networks create a redundancy that could become a lifeline in hard times. This includes our unhoused neighbors who may not be able to pay a phone bill.
